Six games already confirmed for Game Pass next month

With November just around the corner, it’ll soon be time for another round of Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass additions — here’s everything we know is coming to Game Pass in November 2022 so far.

We expect we’ll get another update from Microsoft next week about the first wave of games coming to Game Pass in November, but in the meantime, we already know of a few titles thanks to previous announcements. Here are six games confirmed to be joining Game Pass next month — it would have been seven, but the console version of Humankind was recently delayed indefinitely, mere weeks before its planned November 9th launch. Still, we’ve got plenty of other great stuff coming, as you can see for yourself below…

The Legend of Tianding—November 1st (console/PC)

Step into the shoes of a Taiwanese folk hero in this stylish and fast-paced 2D action game, which lets you bust out crazy combos using martial arts, rocket launchers, and a funky sash that serves as an improvised grappling hook. The Legend of Tianding first launched around a year ago on Steam, where it sits with an ‘Overwhelmingly Positive’ rating from almost 2,000 reviews, and now it’s on its way to Xbox and Game Pass in the coming days.

Ghost Song — November 3rd (console/PC/cloud)

Humble Games is soon to be back on the Game Pass Express with Ghost Song, which is described as “an atmospheric 2D adventure of self-discovery, ancient mysteries, and cosmic terror.” Solo developer Matt White has been canvassing away on the game for almost a decade since its successful Kickstarter run, and it’s great to see it finally almost here.

Football Manager 2023—November 8th (console/PC)

While Football Manager 2022 is set to leave Game Pass on November 8th, the good news is that it’s getting replaced with this year’s edition on the same day. We already have the Football Manager 2023 Console Edition achievements, and it looks like a considerably easier and less time-consuming completion than previous versions.

Pentiment — November 15th (console/PC/cloud)

Praise be, it’s a first-party Xbox exclusive! Pentiment is a new narrative adventure from Obsidian, and we were quite taken with the charming game when we got to play it recently. That wonderfully rich medieval aesthetic really gives Pentiment a look and feel of its own, so we’re looking forward to getting drawn in by this one in just a few weeks.

Gungrave GORE—November 22nd (console/PC/cloud)

Gungrave GORE brings the cult series back for another round of over-the-top bullet-slinging nonsense, this time with Game Pass to help get more eyes on the franchise than ever before. As with Pentiment, we got to play Gungrave GORE recently, and very much enjoyed its intense action, so bring on full launch next month and let’s cause some chaos!

Warhammer 40,000: Darktide — November 30th (PC)

One of the many victims of delays in the past couple of years, Warhammer 40,000: Darktide is finally due to arrive in late November, but only for PC — the console version will be arriving at a later date. Still, PC players will get to experience the 40K answer to the popular Vermintide series soon, and we just hope Xbox players don’t have to wait too much longer.

Looking beyond November, we also know of plenty more games coming to Game Pass in the future, and even November will likely have more to offer — hopefully Microsoft will let us know next week what to expect in the first half of the month, in addition to the above games we already know about.
