Coming off his five-touchdown outburst during Oregon’s win over UCLA, former Auburn signal caller Bo Nix debuts in the mix according to FanDuel Sportsbook’s updated Heisman odds and is beginning to make waves for the Ducks.
Clemson’s DJ Uiagalalei, after turning it over three times in Saturday’s victory over Syracuse, is off the board. He was benched in the second half in favor of freshman Cade Klubnik, who led two scoring drives to give the Tigers the lead.
“Well, sometimes you Steph Curry goes 2-for-25,” Clemson coach Dabo Swinney told ESPN’s Molly McGrath in his postgame on-field interview. “Your best player can sometimes have a bad day. And he just, you know, got out of rhythm, made some bad plays and we just needed a change. So we showed we’ve got that guy that can come in, and DJ’s our quarterback.
